The Akyga® AK-CA-83 adapter is a connector dedicated to HDDs and SSDs. There are SATA 22-pin connectors on both sides of the adapter. These will allow you to connect a SATA cable on one side and an SSD or HDD on the other. It has two mounting holes that will allow the adapter to be screwed into a rack, for example. This will make connecting and disconnecting the drive from the computer much simpler and reduce the risk of the cable being pulled out of the depths of the rack or case. What's more, there are plastic clips on the sides of the adapter. These protect the hard drive from accidental disconnection.
