Uni-T UT18D Voltage and Continuity Tester

The Uni-T UT18D is the most feature-rich model in the UT18 series, designed for quick and convenient diagnosis of electrical installations. The device allows for AC/DC voltage measurement, three-phase voltage testing, phase sequence verification, continuity testing, and detection of positive and negative polarity. A major advantage of this model is its large, backlit LCD display, which makes it easy to read results and enhances comfort while working in various conditions.

Wide measurement range and clear readout

The UT18D model allows for voltage monitoring in the most common ranges from 6 V to 690 V, making it suitable for both simple and more demanding measurements. The LCD display also shows frequency from 40 Hz to 400 Hz, which facilitates the assessment of system parameters. An additional layer of safety is provided by a feature that alerts the user when voltage exceeds the range of 713–788 V.

Extensive functions for installation and service work

The UT18D offers phase rotation testing in the 57–400 Vac range for three-phase installations at 50–400 Hz, single-wire L2 voltage detection in the 100–690 V range, and circuit continuity testing from 0 Ω to 100 kΩ with audible and LED indicators. The device also enables RCD testing at an operating voltage of 230 V and a self-test that verifies the display’s proper operation. Silent mode, automatic standby, a flashlight, and a low-battery indicator enhance the convenience of daily use.

Large screen and robust construction

The biggest difference compared to other models in the series is the larger 73.5 × 35.5 mm LCD screen, which makes it easier to read results. The tester meets the IP65 standard and belongs to the CAT IV 600 V category, making it well-suited for demanding work environments. Powered by two R03 batteries, weighing 280 g, and measuring 272 × 85 × 31 mm, the device remains compact while offering a wide range of measurement capabilities.
