The DTS601 toothbrush works by using ultrasound. The brush head has a generator that produces high frequency sounds that cause the bristles to vibrate. This method of toothbrush operation is particularly recommended for people with tooth sensitivity and parodontosis as, unlike rotary brush heads, the sonic brush head is very gentle to the surface of the teeth and gums. Using UltraSonic Vibration technology, the brush head delivers up to 32,000 brushing strokes per minute, effectively removing plaque with the sweeping motion particularly recommended by dentists.
Despite this high vibration and effectiveness, the toothbrush is completely safe to use. Due to their excellent penetration of interdental spaces and hard-to-reach places in the mouth, sonic brushes are especially recommended for people wearing braces.
