Steam can escape through the vent even with the lid closed, without the need to lift it several times. Pay attention to the steam vent during use so that the steam is even. Be careful not to scald yourself.The steam vent should be positioned on the opposite side of the pan from where you are.

Caution in use:

• Avoid splashing steam and oil when lifting the lid.
