Clean the cables thoroughly to ensure the best possible connection.Loosen the clamping screws on the terminals. Insert the cables into the terminals, then tighten both clamping screws evenly so that the cables are held firmly in place and do not move. Fit the clamps to the car battery and tighten the bolts firmly.NOTE:Do not drive the clamps into the car battery when fitting them, to avoid damaging the battery.
