Checking that your lights are working properly before you set off can protect you from being stopped by the police or even a fine! !? USE:One side of the tester is designed for checking the plug in the trailer and the other for diagnosing the socket in the car. PLUG (TRAILER) TEST:-Connect the plug to the tester. -Press the yellow button on the side of the tester. -If the light is ON GREEN, the installation is OK. -If the indicator lights up RED, the installation is DEFECTED or the bulb in question is burnt out. SOCKET TEST:-Connect the tester to the socket in the car - the lights illuminate RED. -Turn on the light in question, e.g. stop or indicator light. -If the socket is OK, the indicator light will turn GREEN. -If the socket is DEFECTED (or the installation is faulty), the indicator light will continue to illuminate RED. SPECIFICATIONS:-The tester is designed for 13-pin (13-pin) plugs and sockets. -Tester is powered by a 9V battery (not supplied). -Iso 11446 13-pole wiring diagram. NOTE 1: Due to the low load on LED lamps, the tester is not suitable for checking installations on trailers based on LED lighting.NOTE 2: To avoid damage to the tester or problems with the electrical installation, never connect the unit to both the trailer and the vehicle at the same time.
