Description

The GEKO auto-darkening welding helmet is designed to provide comprehensive protection for the eyes and face from sparks, splashes, and harmful UV and IR radiation during welding. This versatile mask is suitable for various electric arc welding methods, including shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) with covered electrodes, semi-automatic gas-shielded welding (MIG-MAG), and tungsten inert gas welding (TIG). It also supports TIG welding (-) with low currents (20A). The helmet features two photosensors within the filter cassette that detect the welding arc's light, automatically initiating the auto-darkening function. Once welding is complete, the filter seamlessly returns to its clear state. The auto-darkening filter is powered by a built-in battery, which is efficiently charged by solar cells, eliminating the need for frequent manual charging.
