Description

Tool for controlling timing belt tension. This tool is used for quick checking of timing belt tension. It is a universal device that allows for timing belt tension control. It enables measurements of belts of various widths and heights wherever the belt deflection [mm] under a given load [N] is specified. Such information is provided by vehicle manufacturers or is available in specialized literature [e.g., AUTODATA]. The tool has two scales; the larger scale on the tool corresponds to the larger scale on the knob, and the smaller scale on the tool corresponds to the smaller scale on the knob. Features: rotary knob to set the desired load (scale on the tool corresponds to units, scale on the knob corresponds to decimal parts), measuring tip, and belt deflection scale where the movable pin indicates the current deflection.
