The drill is made of HSS high-speed steel with increased cutting ability and wear resistance. Coated with TiAlN (titanium aluminum nitride). TiAlN coated drills are particularly suitable for machining difficult-to-cut materials and wherever the drill will be subjected to high thermal loads due to the inability to use coolant or limited coolant supply. This coating significantly improves the wear resistance of drills and allows for increased cutting speed. The drill is packed in a plastic container with a hanging hole.
