Gold-black reduced shank metal drill bit made of 4341 HSS high-speed steel, coated with TiN (titanium nitride). The drill bit complies with DIN 338. It has a cylindrical, reduced shank, which allows using a drill bit with a larger diameter than the drill chuck's range. The drill bit is designed for making through and non-through holes. It features two central cutting edges ground at 135° and flutes that effectively remove chips upwards. The TiN-coated drill bit is especially suitable for machining hard-to-cut materials. The TiN coating increases the drill bit's hardness, enables faster machining, and results in better quality finished parts. The titanium nitride layer reduces friction, thereby minimizing wear on the cutting edge and extending the drill bit's lifespan. The drill bit is packed in a plastic container with a hanging hole.
