Gold-black reduced shank metal drill bit made of 4341 HSS high-speed steel, coated with TiN (titanium nitride). The drill bit complies with DIN 338 standard. Cylindrical, reduced shank allows using a drill bit with a larger diameter than the chuck's capacity. The drill bit is designed for making through and blind holes. It has two central cutting edges ground at a 135° angle and flutes that effectively remove chips upwards. The TiN-coated drill bit is particularly suitable for machining hard-to-cut materials. The TiN coating increases the drill bit's hardness, accelerates the cutting process, and improves the quality of machined parts. The titanium nitride layer reduces friction, decreases wear on the cutting edge, and thus extends the drill bit's lifespan. The drill bit is packed in a plastic container with a hanging hole.
