The drill bit is designed for making through and blind holes. It has two central cutting edges ground at a 135° angle and flutes that effectively remove chips upwards from the hole.
The TiN-coated drill bit is particularly suitable for machining hard-to-cut materials. The application of the TiN coating results in increased drill bit hardness, enables faster cutting, and allows for better quality of machined elements. The titanium nitride layer, by reducing friction, decreases wear on the cutting edge, thereby extending the drill bit's lifespan.
The drill bit is packed in a blister with a hole for hanging on a hook.
