PrisijungtiAkyga® AKY2455 is a modern INR18650 lithium-ion battery that combines a compact design with a capacity of 2900 mAh and built-in PCM protection. This solution is dedicated to users who expect not only performance, but also reliable protection of the cell under all operating conditions.
Powering portable devices often exposes batteries to intensive use and, occasionally, user errors. For this reason, the AKY2455 Li-Ion 18650 battery is equipped with a PCM (Protection Circuit Module), which plays a vital role in safeguarding both the cell and the connected devices. It protects against:
This allows the AKY2455 18650 Li-Ion battery to be used without additional external protection, which greatly simplifies installation and increases the safety of the entire power supply system.
This 18650 cell is suitable for both commercial and private applications – especially in projects where reliability is essential, but there is no time or space to implement external protection systems.
Cells with built-in protection are the ideal option for:
The 18650 Li-Ion battery is based on proven INR technology, which provides high energy density while maintaining high current efficiency. As a result, the AKY2455 cell enables effective power supply to devices with moderate or temporarily increased current consumption, while maintaining thermal resistance and voltage stability even under intensive use.
The Akyga® AKY2455 18650 battery has a standard cylindrical casing with a diameter of 18.5 mm and a height of approx. 70 mm (including the built-in PCM protection). Its nominal voltage is 3.7 V and its actual capacity is 2900 mAh, which translates into a solid energy reserve while maintaining a small size. The cell can operate in a typical operating temperature range (from -20°C to 60°C), and the INR (LiNiMnCoO₂) technology used allows for a continuous discharge current of 1.5 A without the risk of overheating or performance degradation. The built-in PCM system actively protects the cell by cutting it off if the limit parameters are exceeded — all without the need for additional external electronics.
