The Akyga® AK-EC-18 is a single-phase electric car charger. It allows for charging vehicles with a Type1 connector using a standard household electrical socket. The EV charger is equipped with a Schuko plug (CEE 7/7). This standard is used in most European countries, making the charger a practical and universal solution for users of older EVs or those imported from overseas.

What's more, the AK-EC-18 electric car charger has a 5-metre cable. It provides ample flexibility when connecting the vehicle for charging. Combined with the charger's compact design, this device is the ideal support for electric car owners.

At the heart of the charger is the easy-to-use ControlBox, which monitors and displays current charging parameters on an LCD display. A This includes data such as the charging current, voltage, power, energy consumed, charger temperature, and charging time. Furthermore, the user can adjust the charging power by selecting one of the available current values (8 A, 10 A, 13 A, 16 A), with the maximum charging power reaching 3.8 kW.

The charger is also equipped with comprehensive protections (OVP, OCP, OPP, OTP, SCP), protecting both the device and the car battery from damage. In addition, there is a handle on the housing, which allows the charger to be hung up practically, for example in the garage.
