The portable Store 'n' Save hard drive delivers excellent performance thanks to the USB 3.0 “SuperSpeed” interface. The USB 3.0 interface provides up to 10 times faster data transfer compared to USB 2.0 (based on USB bus speed), ensuring rapid data transmission.
Its stylish, textured enclosure perfectly complements the look of your laptop and desk.
The drive uses a bus-powered USB 3.0 interface (1 x USB 3.0) and is compatible with any USB 2.0 port available on desktop and notebook computers. No additional power supply is required—simply plug it in and start using it.

FILE SECURITY

Drives with a capacity of over 2 TB are formatted in the NTFS file system, which is compatible with Windows. However, for Mac systems, the drive must be reformatted to HFS+ to be fully compatible with Mac OS X. HFS+ formatting can be performed using the Verbatim VHD Formatter formatting tool available on the drive. The drive comes with pre-installed Nero Backup* software, helping to schedule data backups as well as compress and encrypt data, ensuring important files are never lost.

SOFTWARE

The Nero Backup software is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 (not compatible with Mac operating systems).
The Green Button software provides energy savings by putting the hard drive into standby mode when inactive, increasing efficiency and reducing power consumption.
Three “sleep” options are available.
