It offers a rated current of 10 A, a C-type trip characteristic, and a short-circuit breaking capacity of 6 kA. It provides protection against overloads, short circuits, and abnormal voltages, and thanks to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Ethernet connectivity, it allows for remote circuit management. The ability to monitor power parameters and create automation makes it ideal for use in residential electrical installations as well as in offices and commercial buildings.

Effective protection for electrical installations

The SHELLY Pro 2CB C10 uses a thermal-magnetic mechanism that automatically disconnects the circuit in the event of an overload or short circuit, reducing the risk of damage to the electrical system. Additional protection is provided by electronic safeguards against overvoltage and undervoltage. You can configure the trigger thresholds and response delays yourself, tailoring the device’s operation to the needs of a specific circuit. The double-pole design allows for the simultaneous disconnection of the L and N wires, and a physical safety switch enables you to disable electronic control, including remote switching functions and voltage protection features implemented by the control unit.

Remote Control and Convenient Monitoring

You don’t need to be at the distribution panel to check the circuit breaker’s status or manage the protected circuit. Thanks to the Shelly Smart Control app and the built-in web interface, you can remotely disconnect the power supply, monitor voltage, and view the event history. The device also monitors its internal temperature, and voltage measurement accuracy is ±5%. Additionally, notifications for selected events are available, as well as data export in CSV and JSON formats, which facilitates installation diagnostics. Remote circuit re-engagement is possible only if the circuit was previously disconnected remotely—if the circuit is tripped or manually turned off, on-site intervention is required.

The device supports schedules, scripts, webhooks, and virtual components, allowing you to create complex automation scenarios. For example, you can program the circuit to turn off at specific times or configure it to respond to a signal from a compatible Shelly flood sensor. MQTT, HTTP, and WebSocket protocols are also available, facilitating integration with external automation systems. 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and a wired RJ45 Ethernet port provide flexible communication options, while the BLE Gateway and Wi-Fi Range Extender features further expand the device’s applications. Basic local functions can operate without an additional control panel, while OTA updates allow for remote software updates.

Well-thought-out design and easy status monitoring

The switch is designed for DIN-rail mounting in an electrical panel. Its dimensions are 93 × 54 × 76 mm, and it weighs 335 g. The front panel features a manual lever, a reset button, a mechanical status indicator, and LEDs indicating network connection and software updates. A green mechanical indicator signifies that the circuit is open, while a red indicator signifies that it is closed, allowing you to quickly check the device’s status without using the app. A mechanical lifespan exceeding 20,000 cycles and an electrical lifespan of over 6,000 cycles ensure long-term operation. The model operates at temperatures ranging from -5°C to 40°C, and its power loss is 2.26 W.
