The Meross MSH450PROMA Wi-Fi Smart Gateway is a device designed to connect and manage compatible accessories within a smart home. It supports Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), 433 MHz radio communication, and the Matter standard, allowing you to integrate older and newer Meross devices into a single system. It is compatible with popular platforms such as Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Home Assistant, providing access to voice control and automation. It also offers a communication range of up to 150 m, local control, a device migration feature, and personalized voice notifications.

Stable Connectivity and Support for Various Devices

The gateway uses two communication protocols—Bluetooth Low Energy and 433 MHz RF—allowing you to connect various types of Meross sensors and accessories into a single system. A range of up to 150 m facilitates communication with devices located in different parts of the home. The updated platform offers up to 200% faster data processing speed compared to the MSH450 model. Additionally, the gateway has undergone over 10,000 connection stress tests, confirming its ability to operate stably with multiple devices.

Matter Integration and Local Control

Thanks to its support for the Matter standard, the gateway allows you to integrate compatible Meross accessories into your chosen smart home ecosystem. Users can create automations and issue voice commands through compatible platforms. Local communication reduces reliance on cloud services, which promotes faster device response times and enhances privacy. An additional convenience is the one-touch migration feature, which allows you to transfer previously connected accessories from an older gateway to the new one without having to re-pair them.

Personalized Voice Alerts

The Meross MSH450PROMA offers customizable voice messages that notify household members of events detected by compatible sensors. For example, when a smoke alarm is triggered, the gateway can play a message specifying the type of hazard and the room where it was detected. This provides users with more information than just an audible alarm, making it easier to quickly assess the situation. The device is also equipped with a standard audible alarm.

Compact design and easy setup

The gateway measures 76 × 76 × 26 mm, so it can easily be placed on a shelf, desk, or cabinet. It uses a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n) and supports setup via smartphones running iOS 16.1 or later and Android 8.1 or later. An LED indicator shows the device’s operating status, and a built-in button makes it easy to use. Pressing the button twice within 2 seconds activates pairing mode, while holding it down for 5 seconds initiates a factory reset.
