The Lindy HDMI 18G Audio Extractor allows the user to seamlessly extract both digital and analogue audio from an HDMI source and output to an audio device in either digital or analogue formats, while sending the video signal to a 4K UHD display or projector. This is a perfect solution for connecting non-HDMI AV receivers or analogue 2-channel speaker setups to an HDMI source device, while also being ideal for extracting audio and video to a display that requires separate speakers.
This extractor supports the full 18G HDMI 2.0 bandwidth to display 4K UHD 4096 x 2160 @ 60 Hz resolutions with additional pass-through support for the REC.2020 color space that covers the wider color gamut required for HDR (High Dynamic Range) content, for enhanced contrast and more lifelike color. Featuring support for HDCP 2.2, this is ideal for use with the source devices including set-top boxes, games consoles and media players.
With support for multi-channel audio including Dolby Digital 5.1 via Optical and analogue stereo via RCA connections, this device will ensure an impressive three-dimensional surround sound performance to compliment films, games and music when connected to the audio device.
